The Shallows

This lake is as the name suggests a shallow gravel pit, ranging from 2-6 foot in depth. There are gravel bars and shelves at approx. 2 foot deep, dropping to 6 foot deep in the occasional hole or basin, with the majority of the lake staying at a depth of 3 foot. The Shallow Lake is a picturesque lake with mature bank sides, two small islands, large Norfolk reed beds and a number of large clumps of white lily pads.
This habitat all lies within 1.5 acres of spring fed water creating perfect living conditions for some of our better specimen fish. The Shallow Lake holds.
